Faith Building & God’s Word

Dick Mills founded DMM to encourage and strengthen Christians all over the world with his unique gift of prophetic Scripture and Bible study. He gave words of wisdom, knowledge and encouragement to over 1,000,000 people in his lifetime. These words were prophetic, and scripturally based and proved to be a powerful combination. Lifting individual’s Christian faith with his anointed personal, powerful, and experiential ministry. We humbly continue the work of personal ministry and Bible study.

Vision & Goals

Our vision is to provide a way for believers to see, hear, read and run with the prophetic and Holy Spirit inspired Word of God. To stay on their feet (Job 4:4), stay filled and change the earth till the return of our Savior. We believe our implementing our vision will produce our God given goal of encouraging, strengthening and helping build the body of Christ into strong warriors.

Be steadfast. Don’t quit, give up or walk away from living for Jesus as your Savior. Keep focused on living for Jesus Christ as your Savior. Don’t waiver from the plan.

Being steadfast is not following your feelings. Feelings often change and are affected by moods, good days, bad days, and other circumstances.

Being steadfast is knowing what the game plan is and doing it regardless of moods or circumstances.

The plan? Live for Jesus. Romans 12:12, “ rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;”

It is not giving up, being hopeless, impatient during tough times, and not praying. Praying is your connection to God. Your words, your prayers, connects you to God who has everything you need.

My father Dick Mills spoke to hundreds of thousands of people in his lifetime. I never heard him complain about traveling, speaking, and being gone so much of the time. He came home and fueled up so he could pour out every week. He filled himself with the Word of God so that what He spoke was inspired by God’s Promises.

Filling himself with God’s Word, Presence and Power was the only way he could then minister God’s Word, have God’s Presence and Power while he ministered.

He felt God had given him directions (the game plan) what to do with his life, and he followed through. But he had to continually fill himself, to do what God was leading him to do.

God has given you direction how to live. Rejoice, be hopeful. Hope means hoping and not giving up because of impatience, upset, disillusionment, loss and heartache. (Romans 12:12)

Do you constantly feel hopeless?

God said, “Be hopeful.” That means being hopeless is making our situation, our life, our circumstances take precedence over God’s Word. We can’t do that.

We are to be patient in hard times. That patience only comes when you have your eyes focused on God, His timing, His purpose, and not how you think things should play out.

Be steadfast in prayer. Pray until there is a change. Pray until you get an idea, or wisdom how to deal with a hard situation, pray until the breakthrough comes. If the problem is big, pray big. Pray in Jesus Name, come against any powers of darkness that are in. your way and command them to go.

I’ve also prayed and asked God ‘why?’ Why am I waiting? What do I need to do for there to be a change? I’ve asked the Lord to show me if there is something I am doing or saying that is blocking the prayer from being answered.

As soon as I’ve prayed, and I know what I feel He is saying to me, or I get an idea, or a thought, I follow that and (usually have to repent), pray more, ask God to change me and change my situation.

Do What I Need to Do

*I pray that God will let me see what I need to see so I can do what I need to do. When you are desperate to hear from God and get a breakthrough you will pray longer, read your Bible more, fast (I’ll be honest, I personally don’t like fasting!) and do desperate things to hear from God!

How much do you need to hear from God? A lot! We all do.

Resist the Devil

James 4:7,8, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

God touched many people throughout my fathers’ lifetime. He was able to minister, pray and compassionately give from the reservoir God had placed within him.

You too have a reservoir.

Whatever is poisonous like un-forgiveness, being cynical, hateful, hard hearted, disgusted, has to be surrendered to the Lord. The Lord brings healing and wholeness in the midst of brokenness. He also strengthens you when you let go. Surrendered.

Why surrendered? Because those are attitudes that block the move of God’s power and His Presence.

“God I don’t feel like letting go, but I let go, I surrender, I forgive. God help me.”

And you know what? God is waiting for that kind of prayer. That is the prayer that opens the door to Him doing something in your heart and in your life.
