God Is With You Before the BreakthroughYou do not have to wait for your prayer to be answered to experience the presence, strength, and help of God. He is with you right now—in the problem, through the uncertainty, and before the breakthrough.
There are seasons when we need an obstacle removed, a situation changed, or an answer that only God can provide. We pray, we wait, and sometimes we wonder what else to say.
When you do not know what else to pray, keep bringing your heart to Him. You can trust His faithfulness while you wait for His answer.
Begin with God’s Promise
“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.”
Psalm 37:4–5Today, begin here: commit your plans and decisions to the Lord.
Bring Him the concern that keeps returning to your thoughts. Invite His wisdom into the decision you need to make. Ask Him to direct your steps and shape your desires according to His will.Committing your plans to God is an act of trust. You are placing your life in the hands of the One who sees what you cannot see and understands what you cannot yet understand.
You can pray:
Lord, I commit this day to You. I need Your wisdom, Your direction, and Your help. Show me the next faithful step, and strengthen me to take it.
Follow God’s Direction: Prepare and Stand
“Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.”
Ephesians 6:11God gives us direction for the battle. Put on His armor: truth, righteousness, the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and His Word. Continue in prayer.
You can stand equipped with what God has provided.
When discouragement rises, return to His truth. When fear presses against your mind, lift the shield of faith. When you are unsure what to pray, begin with Scripture.
Isaiah 41:10 assures us that God is with us, that He will strengthen and help us, and that He will uphold us with His righteous right hand.
Let that promise shape your prayer:
God is with me. He will strengthen me. He will help me. He will uphold me.
You may still be waiting for circumstances to change, but His promise gives you strength to face them today.

There is More-Praying for Breakthrough
Praying for more and praying for breakthrough.
I remember my parents Dick and Betty Mills, praying for breakthrough and praying for ‘more.’
More anointing. More of the Holy Spirit during services. More healings. God showing up and doing something profound.
The incredible thing is God answered those prayers. As a young girl I do remember people being touched by the Holy Spirit and people being healed.
It was incredible to say the least. I have often thought –
‘what if my parents hadn’t prayed for more?’
What if they had prayed that God would bless their services and left it at that? But they prayed for more.
And people were healed. Saved. Their lives were redirected because of a ‘good word’ and a prayer for ‘more.’
We may feel guilty praying for more, yet Biblically God has shown through His character that He indeed plans to give us more. In fact abundantly more.
More than we ask.
More than we imagine.
According to His power.
Ephesians 3:20
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,”
NKJVDid you know when you pray and request things from God He is able to answer your prayers and do more than you requested or asked for?
In fact He is a reciprocal God in that He says
“Seek and you will find.” Matthew 7:7,8 NKJV
“Knock and the door will be opened to you.”
“Ask and it shall be given to you.”
God says He will grant you your hearts desire, and not withhold the request of your lips. Psalm 21:2

Psalm 5:3 “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;

in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.”The Lord knows we need a good word. He knows we have requests and that we need Him to move on our behalf.
God has more for us. It starts with Him. When we hope and pray, the requests we make have already been paid for with the blood of Jesus Christ.
Our prayers set in motion the move of God. The blood of Jesus sets in motion the answers to prayer.I remember my father speaking and ministering and telling people “make your list big!” Because God is able to answer prayers. Big prayers.
Let’s pray together.
Father in Jesus name we come to you with our mouth filled with praise, our hearts completely devoted to you and our soul surrendered. Lord help us today. Speak to us today.
Give us wisdom in the areas we need it so that we can wisely make the decisions that we need to make. Help us find out what we need to find out so that we can know what we need to know.
Lord I pray for breakthroughs. Answers to our prayers. That healing and wholeness would come through the blood of Jesus. You have already sacrificed on the cross and paid the price of sickness and death.
Your word says “By your stripes we are healed.” We take you at your word and know that you are trustworthy in everything you say. Your word is forever settled in heaven. You are not a liar (Numbers 23:19)
We thank you for. your healing touch.
Lord we agree in prayer with one another, that we are healed and we are whole. Nothing missing and nothing broken according to your name Jehovah Shalom.
We pray all these things in your Holy name.
The name that is above every name.
The name that every knee must bow to and every tongue confess.
That Jesus Christ alone is Lord.
It is in your name Jesus that we pray.
Amen.
We are glad you are here! God’s word brings joy, freedom, deliverance and inner strength. There is more for you because God has promised there is more. Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than you could ask or think.”
Never settle. We are agreeing in prayer for you to experience more. That God’s Word would be active in your life. He has good words for you, good promises and good plans. We have to know His Word to know that. And we do.To God Be All the Glory.

God’s Solution to Every Problem
When Trouble Makes It Hard to See What God Can Do
Scripture promise: “I am the resurrection and the life.” — John 11:25
The Problem We Face
When Mary and Martha lost their brother Lazarus, they were grieving someone they loved. They had asked Jesus to come, and now Lazarus was dead.
Mary fell at Jesus’ feet and said, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died” (John 11:32). Her words held sorrow and a question many of us recognize: Lord, where were You when we needed You?
When you face problems, when you are in trouble, and you wonder where God is, there is still a solution.
Pain can narrow our thinking until all we see is what has been lost. We may begin to believe that because God has not answered in the way or time we expected, He is absent.
That is the mindset His Word calls us to bring into His presence.

God’s Solution
Jesus saw Mary weeping, and He was deeply moved (John 11:33). He did not stand apart from their grief. He wept with them, then went to the tomb.
Before Lazarus came out, Jesus told Martha, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40).
Then He called Lazarus by name, and Lazarus came forth. The passage shows us both the compassion of Jesus and His authority over death. His care was present even when Mary and Martha could not yet see what He would do.
This tells us we can stand on what this passage reveals about Jesus: He sees, He cares, and death does not have the final word over those who belong to Him.
Scriptural Answers to Stand On Today
When the thought comes…
Answer it with God’s Word
“God does not see what I’m going through.”
John 11:33–35: Jesus saw their tears and was deeply moved.
or “It is too late for God to help me.”
John 11:25: Jesus declares Himself the resurrection and the life. Bring Him what feels beyond your ability to change.
and another wrong thought, “I have to be strong enough on my own.”
Isaiah 40:29: God gives power to the weak and increases their strength.
“My grief has separated me from God.”
Psalm 34:18: The Lord is near to the brokenhearted.
“I cannot get past what I see right now.”
Romans 12:2: Allow God’s Word to renew your mind and reshape the way you face today.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You see what I am facing today. I bring You my grief, my questions, and the thoughts that have kept me afraid. Strengthen me through Your Word. Help me remember that You are near, that You care, and that I can trust You with what I cannot control. Renew my mind and guide my steps today. Amen.

Press Forward
Goals Need Actions: Moving Forward With Purpose
Key Scripture:“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 3:14
If you have made goals, but you feel stuck, here is God’s Word for you today. Revisit your goal and the reason why you made the goal. The reason is important.
There are things God has placed in your heart—ideas, dreams, assignments, changes you know you need to make. You may even be able to clearly see where you want to go.
But between where you are and where you want to be there must be movement.Your actions and habits every day need to begin reflecting where you believe God is taking you. Press forward.
Goals Require Movement
Think about preparing for a journey. You wouldn’t simply decide where you wanted to go and then expect to arrive there. You would prepare.
You would determine the route. Pack what you need. Put gas in the car. Allow enough time. Take the right clothing and supplies. Then eventually, you would have to get in the car and start moving.
The destination determines the preparation.
The same principle applies to your goals.
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” — Proverbs 21:5
If you have a goal but never schedule time for it, train for it, prepare for it or consistently work toward it, eventually the goal itself can become a source of frustration.
Sometimes we don’t need another goal.
We need actions that agree with the goal we already have.
God Established the Principle of Seed and Harvest
A farmer may desire a harvest, pray for a harvest and prepare his barns for a harvest—but he still has to plant seeds.
“Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” — Galatians 6:7
The farmer performs ordinary, repetitive actions long before there is visible evidence of a harvest.
The athlete trains before the competition.
The writer sits down and writes before there is a finished book.
The business owner develops the product before there can be a sale.
The believer studies God’s Word before those Scriptures are readily available in the heart during a difficult season.
Much of accomplishment is built through faithful repetition.
Zechariah 4:10 tells us not to despise “the day of small things.” Small actions may not look impressive today, but repeated consistently, they can produce something substantial tomorrow.
God’s Solution: Walk Wisely and Purposefully
Scripture doesn’t teach us to live aimlessly. It repeatedly calls us to wisdom, diligence, preparation and purposeful action.
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12
“Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
“Prepare your outside work, make it fit for yourself in the field; and afterward build your house.” — Proverbs 24:27
There is prayer, and there is preparation.
There is faith, and there is obedience.
There is vision, and there is action.
We depend upon God for His direction, strength and provision, but when He shows us what to do, we have a responsibility to move.
Look at What Your Daily Actions Are Producing
This may be one of the most important questions you can ask yourself:
Are my present actions taking me toward the life and assignments I believe God has called me to—or are they simply consuming my time?
Some routines are necessary. Others have simply become habits.
It may be time to replace repetitive actions that continually consume your time with purposeful actions that move you forward.
Ephesians 5:15–16 says:
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time.”
Redeeming your time doesn’t mean filling every minute with work. It means recognizing that your time has value and using it intentionally.
A Simple Biblical Plan for Moving Forward
Start here:
PURPOSE → PLAN → ACTION → CONSISTENCY → DEVELOPMENT
Ask God, “What is the purpose?”
Then determine, “What plan will support that purpose?”
Next ask, “What action can I take today?”
And then keep doing the right things consistently.
Habakkuk 2:2 says, “Write the vision and make it plain.”
Don’t only write the goal. Write the actions required to reach it.
If you want to write a book, perhaps your action is writing for 30 minutes every morning.
If you want to build a business, your action may be creating one product, contacting customers, learning a skill or consistently marketing what you have already created.
If you want to become stronger spiritually, your action may be opening your Bible every morning, praying and intentionally spending time in God’s presence.
Make the action specific enough that you know whether you actually did it.
A Good Word
You do not have to accomplish everything today.
But you do need to move.
Paul said:
“I press toward the goal.” — Philippians 3:14
There is something powerful in that word press. Paul wasn’t describing passivity. He was describing purposeful forward movement.

Perhaps the question for today isn’t, “How am I ever going to accomplish everything God has put in my heart?”
Instead ask:
“What is the next right action I can take?”
Then take it.
Plant the seed.
Write the page.
Make the plan.
Learn the skill.
Prepare what is needed.
Remove what continually wastes your time.
Repeat the actions that are producing progress.Goals need actions. Actions need a plan. A plan needs a purpose. And purpose gives direction to the calling God has placed within you.
You don’t have to see the entire journey before you begin.
Pray. Plan. Prepare. Then press forward.

Remembrance is Meant to Shape our Worship, Faith, Choices, and Lives.
Remember—and Move Forward
Scripture Promise
“Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth.”
—Psalm 105:5This week we have been remembering the life of my brother and my parents. Telling sweet stories, funny things that have happened over our lifetime with him. I read the scripture above and was moved by remembering what God has done.
The Hebrew word translated “remember” is zakar. It means more than recalling information or revisiting a memory. In Scripture, remembering is purposeful. It brings God’s character, His works, and His Word back into the center of our thinking—and then calls us to respond.
God doesn’t want us to forget. Biblical remembering is an action of faith.
We remember what God has said.
We remember what God has done.
We remember that His character has not changed.
Then, strengthened by that truth, we move forward.The Problem We Face
Difficult circumstances can cause us to forget. we face a trauma, a diagnosis or a giant electric bill-
We may not forget God completely, but we can lose sight of His faithfulness.
The pressure of what is happening today can become greater in our minds than everything God has already done.
Fear remembers every possibility of failure.
Anxiety remembers every unanswered question.
Discouragement remembers every disappointment.
But faith deliberately remembers God.
When we forget His faithfulness, our thoughts become controlled by what we see, feel, and fear.
We begin to make present decisions as though God has never helped us, never spoken to us, and never made us a promise.
This is why remembering is foundational. Before we can move forward confidently, we must bring the truth about God back into our thinking.
God’s Solution: Remember
“This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. Through the LORD’S mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.”
—Lamentations 3:21–22Jeremiah made an intentional decision: “This I recall to my mind.”
Hope returned when he remembered.
His circumstances had not yet changed, but his focus did.
He deliberately brought God’s mercy and faithfulness back into his thinking. That remembrance shifted his mindset and restored his hope.
Remembering is not denying that the battle is real. It is refusing to face the battle while forgetting who God is.
David did this before facing Goliath. He remembered how God had delivered him from the lion and the bear:
“The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.”
—1 Samuel 17:37David used yesterday’s deliverance as evidence for today’s battle. He remembered—and then he moved forward.
Remembering Is Faithfulness
Remembering is a way of remaining faithful to:
- What God has already said
- What God is presently speaking through His Word
- What God has promised to accomplish
God told Israel repeatedly to remember because remembrance would keep their hearts anchored to Him.
“And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness.”
—Deuteronomy 8:2They were not to remember only the difficulty of the wilderness. They were to remember that God led them through it.
The wilderness was not merely a place of lack. It was also a place of God’s leadership, provision, protection, correction, and faithfulness.
What you remember about a difficult season will shape what you carry into the next one.
If you remember only the pain, you may move forward afraid.

But when you also remember how God sustained you, taught you, protected you, and brought you through, remembrance becomes strength for your next step.
Remembering Strengthens
“I will remember the works of the LORD; surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, and talk of Your deeds.”
—Psalm 77:11–12Remembering strengthens us because it interrupts the voice of fear.
It reminds us:
- God has not changed.
- God has not abandoned us.
- His Word is still true.
- His promises have not expired.
- What He has done before proves that He is faithful now.
Psalm 105 presents both sides of this powerful truth:
“Remember His marvelous works which He has done.”
—Psalm 105:5“He remembers His covenant forever, the word which He commanded, for a thousand generations.”
—Psalm 105:8We remember what God has done because God remembers what He has promised.
God’s Protocol: How to Remember and Move Forward
1. Stop and remember who God is
Before you rehearse the problem again, rehearse the character of God.
He is faithful.
He is present.
He is your Provider.
He is your Healer.
He is your Deliverer.
He is your Shepherd.
He is the God who keeps His Word.
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.”
—Psalm 103:22. Remember what God has already done
Look back over your life. Write down the prayers He has answered, the doors He has opened, the provision He has supplied, and the seasons He has carried you through.
3. Remember what God has said
Return to the promises in His Word. Read them. Write them. Speak them aloud. Keep them where you can see them.
Do not allow the circumstances to have the final word in your mind. Bring your thoughts back under the authority of what God has spoken.
“Remember the word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope.”
—Psalm 119:494. Allow remembrance to shift your mindset
Ask yourself:
Am I thinking only about what is happening, or am I also remembering what God has said?
Remembrance changes the direction of our thoughts. It moves us from fear to faith, from confusion to confidence, and from despair to expectation.
5. Take the next faithful step
David remembered God’s deliverance, but he did not remain beside the brook. He selected his stones, approached Goliath, and moved toward the battle.
Remembrance should produce movement.
Pray the prayer.
Make the call.
Prepare what God placed in your hands.
Obey His instruction.
Take the next step.You do not need to see the entire path. You only need to remember who is leading you and faithfully take the step before you.
A Good Word
You may be facing something today that you have never faced before, but you are not facing it with a God who has never helped you before.
Remember.
Remember the prayers He has answered.
Remember the doors He has opened.
Remember the battles He has brought you through.
Remember the promises He has spoken.
Remember His faithfulness in every previous season.Remembering is the foundation.
Remembering strengthens your faith.
Remembering shifts your mindset.
Remembering prepares you to move forward.
Do not allow the pressure of the present moment to erase the evidence of God’s faithfulness.
Remember what God has done. Stand firmly upon what God has said. Then move forward in faith, trusting Him with what He will do next.
We live for Jesus.

I Am Grateful for God’s Goodness
This week is a hard week yet God is good.
This last week we lost my brother and the loss is hard.
This is an old wedding photo but it is a wonderful picture of our family in our early years. VERY SWEET memories.
God is good. He gives a peace that can’t be explained. He loves with a deep sacrificial love we can hardly express.
I Samuel 7:12 says it best, “thus far the Lord has helped us.”

God’s Solution
God’s solution is always found in His Word.
No matter how crazy the problem is God has the answer. The answer is Jesus, and Jesus is the answer for you. When you start to say ‘well what about…?” Jesus has an answer.
We live in a world that trains us to say what our circumstances are speaking according to what we see, feel, or experience. But God says in His Word, “Call on me, I will answer, and more than that I’ll show you things you don’t know, but need to know.”
Circumstances try to dictate our words. Pressure, a diagnosis, sickness, divorce, delay, opposition, and loss tempt us to agree with fear, limitation, or disappointment.
“What are we going to do?”We speak to the diagnosis, the fear, the problem, and we speak the Name of Jesus over it.
The challenge isn’t just what we face—it’s how we respond with our words. Left unchecked, our speech can align with the problem instead of God’s promise.
God says “He (God) sent His Word to heal them of every destruction.” Psalm 107:20
That is addiction, sickness, heartache, brokenness, defiance, and rebellion.
God’s Solution
God does not ask us to deny reality—He asks us to speak from a higher reality. Goliath was David’s reality in the Bible. But He spoke to Goliath before He overcame Goliath.
I Samuel 17:45, “You are coming against me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the Israelite armies, which you have defied.”
What are you facing that is defying God’s promises for you? God’s solution is alignment. That means you say what God says.
When you face sickness or an impossible situation you speak to it – “Sickness (or problem), you are coming against me with this situation but I come against you in the Name of the Lord.Alignment of words with His Word

Alignment of expectation with promise
When God is with you, opposition cannot prevail.
When your words agree with God, no power—natural or spiritual—can stop what He has ordained to come to pass.
What His Word Says
God’s Word is clear:
No one can stand against what God is doing in your life. He does not forsake what He begins. He brings His people into places of strength, increase, and inheritance. Victory is sustained not by striving, but by agreement with His Word.
The Lord is speaking to you-
Your words matter because they reveal what you believe—and belief shapes direction. Believe God’s Word.

A Daily Game Plan for Living as a Believer
1. Start each day by choosing agreement
Decide before circumstances speak:
“I will say what God says, not what I see.”
2. Guard your words intentionally
If you want change in your life, change what you speak. Words are seeds—plant the ones God can multiply.
3. Speak Scripture into real situations
Use God’s Word as your language for prayer, decisions, and declarations.
4. Stay aligned, not reactive
When pressure comes, don’t rush to react, panic and speak—pause and respond in faith.
5. Expect transformation
When your words line up with God’s Word, your life will follow in supernatural ways.

God is with you. He goes before you. He stands behind His Word.
As you speak in agreement with Him, your life will reflect His faithfulness.

When You are Reassessing Your Life
I remember my mother having a discussion with my father, and at the end she said “they’re just acting crazy. They are grown and know better but they’re acting crazy.”I of course was fascinated by their discussion but had no idea what they were talking about. I wondered who was crazy!
I understand now though.
WHEN YOU ARE REASSESSING YOUR LIFE
Is This All There Is? God Has a Better Answer Than That Question.
You are in the middle of your life — not at the beginning, not at the end, but somewhere in the middle where you have enough behind you to measure it and enough ahead of you to feel the weight of what you do with it. And the measuring has produced questions. Not a crisis, exactly — just a persistent, circling reassessment. You look at where you are and compare it to where you thought you’d be. You look at what you have and compare it to what others seem to have.
And the question that keeps returning, the one you can’t quite silence, is: is this all there is?
If that question has been circling in you lately, you’re not alone, and you’re not doing anything wrong by asking it. Let’s talk about what it means — and where God wants to take you from here.
The Thoughts That Circle in the Reassessment
The mid-life reassessment has a particular sound — a set of thoughts that return on their own, often at night, often when the quiet of the day creates space for deeper questions to surface:
● Is this all there is? Is this what the rest of my life looks like?
● I thought I’d be further along by now — in my career, in my purpose, in my direction.
● Other people seem to have figured something out that I haven’t. What am I missing?
● I’ve done what I was supposed to do. Why doesn’t it feel like enough?
● What do I do next? What should I be doing with the years I have left? Which way do I go next?
● I don’t feel the strength or purpose I used to feel. Where did it go?
● Is God still working in my life? Does He still have something significant planned for me?
These are honest questions. But they aren’t meant to circle indefinitely.
They’re meant to drive you toward the God who has already answered them — in His Word, in His plans for you, and in the specific promises He’s spoken over the days still ahead.
What the Discontent Is Actually Telling You
Here’s something important: discontentment isn’t always sin.
Sometimes it’s your soul’s accurate reading that something is misaligned — that there’s a gap between how you’re living and how you were designed to live.
A person walking fully in God’s purpose isn’t usually asking whether this is all there is. They’re too engaged with what He’s placed in front of them to wonder if something else would be better.
So the question isn’t whether the discontent is real. It’s: what is it pointing toward?
God’s answer isn’t a different life. It’s a deeper engagement with the life He’s already given you — through His Word, His Spirit, and the purpose He placed in you that hasn’t yet been fully walked out.
Be Strong. Take Courage. He Is With You.
God spoke to Joshua at exactly this kind of threshold — not at the beginning of Joshua’s life, but in the middle of it, right where everything was about to change:
“Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you… that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night… For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
— Joshua 1:7–9
God didn’t hand Joshua a detailed five-year plan. He gave him a posture:
stay in My Word,
don’t deviate,
be strong and courageous.
The prosperity that followed was guaranteed by God Himself.
What God Actually Means by “Prosper”
The Hebrew word behind “prosper” in that passage is tsalach — and it means far more than financial success. It carries the sense of:
● Rushing forward with force — momentum, not stagnation
● Breaking through — what was blocking the way gives out
● Being fruitful in God’s economy — not just profitable, but producing what you were designed to produce
● Advancing by strength that comes from outside yourself — God-given, not self-generated
● Being brought to completion — fully becoming what you were made to become
That’s what God promised Joshua, and it’s what’s available to you when you stay in His Word and walk in His strength instead of your own.
The Prayer That Asked God to Enlarge What Was Small
Tucked into a genealogy in 1 Chronicles is a prayer that stands out because it’s so specific and so bold:
“Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain! So God granted him what he requested.”
— 1 Chronicles 4:10
Jabez didn’t accept the limitations of his beginning as the boundaries of his future. He believed God had more, and he asked for it — specifically and boldly. God answered him. That same prayer is available to you today.
Five Promises for the Days Still Ahead
● Ecclesiastes 7:8 — “Better is the end of a thing than its beginning.” You are not past your best days. You’re approaching them.
● Job 8:7 — “Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.” God’s pattern is increase, not decline.
● Isaiah 40:29–31 — “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles.” The strength for what’s ahead is His to give, not yours to manufacture.
● Philippians 4:11–13 — “I have learned, in whatever state I am, to be content.” Contentment is learned, not inherited — and Christ’s strength makes it possible.
● Jeremiah 29:11 — “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” The future He promised is still standing.
How to Move from Reassessment to Renewal
1. Stop measuring your life against other people’s. Comparison is the root of most mid-life discontentment. God isn’t grading you on a curve.
2. Get back into God’s Word — meditate in it day and night. The prosperity God promised Joshua was tied directly to staying in the Word.
3. Pray the prayer of Jabez, specifically and boldly. Don’t be vague. Ask for real enlargement in real areas of your life.
4. Be strong and take courage — as a choice, not a feeling. God commanded it, which means it comes before the feeling does.
5. Wait on the Lord. This isn’t passivity — it’s positioning yourself, like the eagle finding the rising air, to receive strength you can’t generate on your own.
6. Believe the best days are still ahead. Speak it, and start walking toward it.
A Good Word for You
The question is “is this all there is?” was never meant to be answered by comparing your life to everyone else’s and concluding something is wrong with you.
It was meant to drive you toward the God who designed you for more than any set of circumstances can fully hold.Better is the end of a thing than its beginning. Your latter end will increase abundantly. You are not past your best days — in God’s economy, you’re approaching them. Be strong. Take courage. Pray boldly. Wait on Him. And carry this promise with you:
“Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
— Isaiah 40:31
You didn’t arrive here by accident. God had these words ready for you today.
