A Word for You
God sees exactly where you are right now. He knows the weight you’ve been carrying — the racing thoughts, the sleepless nights, the knot in your chest that never quite loosens. You are not forgotten, and you are not alone.
Anxiety can make you feel as though the future is out of control. But the truth of God’s Word is that your future is held in hands that have never once let go. He was faithful before this moment, and He is faithful in it. Let these promises from His Word wash over you today.
Scripture Promises for You
Philippians 4:6–7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Your worry is an invitation to prayer. Every anxious thought can become a conversation with the One who holds all things.
Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
This is God speaking directly to you. He is not asking you to be strong on your own — He is promising to be your strength.
1 Peter 5:7
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
Every single concern — large or small — is something He invites you to hand over. He does not grow weary of carrying what you cannot.
Matthew 6:34
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Jesus Himself understood the weight of worry. He calls you back to this single day — this one moment — where His grace is sufficient.
Psalm 94:19
“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”
The psalmist knew this feeling too. God’s Word does not pretend anxiety isn’t real — it promises that His comfort is greater.
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
The peace Jesus offers is not the absence of difficulty. It is a deep, settled confidence that He is in this with you.
Psalm 46:1–2
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”
Even when everything feels like it’s falling apart — He is your refuge. Run to Him, not from Him.
His Promise to You
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
— John 16:33
A Prayer for You
Father, I come to You right now carrying more than I know how to hold. My mind is restless, my heart is heavy, and I confess that fear has had more of my attention than Your promises. I choose today to turn that around.
I cast every anxious thought at Your feet — the worries about tomorrow, the fears about what I cannot control, the weight of all the what-ifs. I ask You to replace them with the peace that passes understanding. Guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, just as You have promised.
Remind me today that You have not left me alone in this. Strengthen me where I am weak. Help me to trust You one moment at a time. I receive Your peace not as the world gives, but as only You can give.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
