The Lord is speaking, and every Word of God matters. It matters to us because our life is built on His Word. We asked Jesus into our hearts and become our Savior because of Words we heard or read in the Bible.

Acts 4:12, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

We are saved by the Name of Jesus, when we ask Him to come into our hearts and save us. In fact our words matter. Those words, asking Jesus into our heart, are what change us from being lost, and unsaved – to saved.

God is in His Word
Even more amazing is that God says He is in His Word. God is in His Word.

When people say I don’t ever hear God speak to me, I would say back, “Yes actually He does. He is speaking to you today, right now from His Word.”
John 1:1, says “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”

So when you are reading His Word, He is in His Word, speaking His Words to you. His Power and Presence are in those Words and they are His Promises to you.

The Word of God that is heard, believed and spoken in your life is what will change your life.
Psalm 107:20, “He sent His Word and healed them.”
His Word Brings Light
Psalm 119:130, “The entrance of His word brings light.”
Psalm 119:105, “Thy Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
2 Corinthians 1:20, “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen to the glory of God…”

Dick Mills said in his Spirit Filled Believers Daily Devotional (can be purchased HERE)
“Standing on a promise from God is not mere wishful thinking or clinging to an impossible dream. A promise from the Lord carries with it its own assurance of fulfillment.”
Dick Mills
One time when praying over a terrible situation that had happened, I was standing in my room, at a loss, praying.
Quietly but profoundly I heard the Lord say ‘this isn’t from me. Don’t accept it like it is my will. It isn’t. Stand up, come against it and pray my Word. If you don’t know how to pray (and I wasn’t sure how to pray at that moment) always pray My Word.’
That changed everything for me because it changed my mindset.

Then the Lord brought to my memory the story about David and Goliath. So I opened my Bible and read it. David defies the giant, who is defying His God.
Goliath is so defiant that the warriors of Israel were in a panic. They couldn’t fight because of fear. They knew how to fight, but couldn’t because they were so afraid, afraid of what Goliath was saying, and how he looked.
But David spoke not of what He was looking at (an insurmountable odd) but rather he spoke from what He knew. He knew God was more powerful than the Philistine he was facing. David defied the giant with His Words. And these Words are what the Lord quietly spoke to me to pray. Out loud.
“But David replied to the Philistine, “You are coming against me with sword and spear and javelin. But I am coming against you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel’s armies, whom you have defied! This very day the Lord will deliver you into my hand. I will strike you down and cut off your head. This day I will give the corpses of the Philistine army to the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the land. Then all the land will realize that Israel has a God, and all this assembly will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves! For the battle is the Lord’s, and He will deliver you into our hand.”
I Samuel 17:45-47
I was mindful that the Lord was letting me know by that group of scriptures that I was not to lose heart and say to myself, ‘well since it happened it must be God’s will.’
No, God was saying to me, what is coming against you I have not sent. Stand up, declare my Word and don’t collapse because of what you see.
Every Word of God Matters

Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Joshua 1:7-9, “Make sure you are very strong and brave! Carefully obey all the law my servant Moses charged you to keep. Do not swerve from it to the right or to the left, so that you may be successful in all you do. This law scroll must not leave your lips. You must memorize it day and night so you can carefully obey all that is written in it. Then you will prosper and be successful. I repeat, be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic, for I, the Lord your God, am with you in all you do.”
God’s Word does matter in your life. He is giving you His Word to see what He thinks, and know His plan for your life. It isn’t to lay down and collapse when the weight of the world is too much to bear.

Rather He gives us the tools (His presence, His Power and His Word) to stand strong, to pray, to not only face the adversary but not run in fear while facing the adversary.

God’s Word is your strength, your comfort and your game book for the game of life. You read it so you know what to do, how to respond, what to believe, and hear God in those words.
Ephesians 6:17, “And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God).

Say the Word of God out loud when praying over yourself, your family, your finances, your future. The Word of God is your offense. It is filled with power and it brings the presence of the Living God right to you at that very moment.

LET’S PRAY TOGETHER-
“Father in Jesus’ Name we agree together for miracles to happen. Lord we need you and we need you to show us what to do. We need miracles in our lives. Lord we want to hear your voice. Speak to us. Let us hear what you are saying and let us understand and have wisdom in this season that we are in.
When there are things we don’t understand, again we pray for wisdom from you, and we pray for patience to wait on you. We know that waiting has value in the Kingdom of God, so we wait.
And Lord your Word says that when we wait we will have our strength renewed. We won’t collapse under the weight of the circumstances we are faced with. But rather we are strengthened and empowered by your Holy Spirit.
God our trust is in you. You are faithful and you are trustworthy. Let us never forget that. You are the God who saves us, and continues to save us. We live for you. Every day. We don’t quit, we don’t give up and we never walk away. We always live for you.”
“In the powerful Name of Jesus, the Name above every name.”
Amen.
