Hello everyone. Did you know that God’s abundance for us is part of His Biblical plan.

The following scriptures are filled with good things that God intends for us. Scriptures are compiled by my father Dick Mills. He did quite a bit of study just on this topic alone and I think you are going to love all the scriptures that focus on God’s nature, His plans for you and His promises regarding abundance.
You see how God wants to give, wants abundance for us, and throughout the Old Testament and New Testament, there is an awakening in the Spirit of man when He realizes that God abundance is real and it is purposeful.
2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” In fact God is able to do more, give more, bless more, deliver more than we can comprehend.

Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,” Because the world is in a constant process of decay and destruction we can often confuse what we see with what God has said.
As believers we are to listen to God’s voice and not succumb to the sound of the (serpents lying tongue) voice yelling from the world.
Genesis 3:1 “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
God’s Word has not changed.
Psalm 119:89-91 “Forever O Lord, your Word is forever settled in heaven and His faithfulness endures to all generations.” All generations speaks of us. Our children, and our children’s children.

Abundance comes from God. We know this by what His Word says. We find out how God thinks by His Word. By what He has said, and what He has promised.
We look to His Word as the compass of direction in our lives. Not our circumstances. Our circumstances go one way one day and another way on another day.
When God walked through the garden after Eve’s conversation with the serpent (Satan) He called to her and Adam. They were afraid to answer and said so.
God said in Genesis 3:9-11 “But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”
We know how the story ends. Adam and Eve left a place of complete abundance in the garden where all their needs were met to outside the garden. Their needs were met but they had to toil and labor for their sustenance.
As you read in Genesis 3, and then chapter 4 you will also see how God continued to help Adam and Eve, and helped Eve during childbearing. (Genesis 4:1)
Even after they left the garden, God made a way. He provided. He helped them. At the end of Genesis chapter 4 it says people called on God. They needed help. They needed a Savior.
Abundance is at the heart of Salvation. The world needed a Savior, and they needed forgiveness.
God so loved the World (John 3:16) that He gave them a Savior that would forgive their sins and bring them back into right relationship with Him. Back to the garden.

The garden is where abundance was. It was in the presence of God. Everything we need is where God is.
Matthew 6:33 “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL these things shall be added unto you.”
John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
Psalm 84:11 “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.”
God provided rain during drought-
I Kings 18:41 “And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.”
Psalm 72:7 “In his days may the righteous flourish and prosperity abound till the moon is no more.”
Psalm 36:8 “They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.”

Isaiah 55:10,11 “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

God’s Word is what we believe. What we know to be true.
When experiencing lack, and not enough, God’s Word is where we turn.
