Hello friends. This morning during devotions, I thought of the scripture Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withers, the flower fades: but the Word of our God shall stand for ever.”
We’ve all heard the phrase ‘in these uncertain times’ and then heard by someone’s standards how to hold steady.
The good news is holding on to God and God’s Words, spoken from His lips will hold you steady. His Word is forever settled in heaven. It can be trusted.
God’s Word can be trusted
God’s Word can be trusted. Psalm 145:13 “
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does” (NIV)
God’s Word says what He will do
God provides what we need. Psalm 145:15,16 “The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 “Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.”
When God speaks, know that HIs Words are true. He is faithful. He is trustworthy and the Words He has spoken are promises to us.
Psalm 145:17 “The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does.”
“Lord today, we pray and ask you for your presence in our day. We ask you to show us what we need to see, find out what we need to find out so that we can do what we need to do.”
God we ask you to forgive us for doubt and unbelief. We believe that what you have said is true. That you are not a liar (Numbers 23:19) but if you have spoken to us, it will be done.(Ezekiel 12:25,28)
There is uncertainty in the world, and all around us but we know your Word is certain.
Ezekiel 12:25 “But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay.”
IN Jesus’ Name, the Name above all Names.
