Hello everyone. Welcome to our blog where we will be sharing good words for you and devotional style scriptures. I want to share some good words with you. Be sure to check out our other areas of the blog to know more about us, see what we have in store for you.
It is our goal to make sure that everyone and anyone knows that God has a good word for them that is accessible to them every single day.

We have several resources available to you as the days go by that we will be sharing so be sure to come back by and visit us often.
Have you ever had a day where you just need something good to happen? A good word, a good circumstance, a good outcome? Keep reading!
I remember as a child sitting next to my mother in church. My father was ministering on the platform, speaking and sharing what God had shown him. He gave good words to people all the time that were filled with scriptures, sometimes funny words, prayerful thoughts and heartfelt compassion.

He was funny and told jokes which I remember laughing at all of them, hearing them over and over again. I also remember as he ministered individually to people he would say to them “I’ve got a good word for you.”
He would take their hands prayerfully and give them scriptures that He felt God directing him to give. The scriptures usually focused on a specific theme or topic.

When he would share with them what God was showing him, they often would begin shaking their head, sometimes weeping.
I looked over at my mother and said “If he is giving them a good word, why are they crying?” She would explain to me that people are going through difficult times. They come to church to worship God, and suddenly they are being given a good word. In essence a word from God specifically for them.
As they are receiving the word, they understand that God knows exactly where they are, He knows exactly what they are going through. Realizing that God knows, they begin to weep.
I looked over at my mother and said “If he is giving them a good word, why are they crying?”

God does know where we are and He knows what we are going through. That is a good word for you.

His word says “I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of God in the Land of the living. Wait on the Lord, be of good courage and He shall strengthen thy heart.” Psalm 27:13,14

God’s word is good every day, and it is for today. All of his promises are true. “Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away.” Luke 21:33
“My heart is set on keeping your word till the very end.” Psalm 119:112
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
“The entrance of your word brings light.” Psalm 119:130
If you need a good word today, it is available to you. God’s word is available to everyone.
You can even google it. I prefer a Bible, a written book and opening it and reading it. But if you need a Bible resource, there are free apps online – Bible Gateway is a great resource for a Bible online, to look up scriptures.
But here is a good word for you!
“Praise the Lord oh my soul, forget not all his benefits, who forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. Who redeems my life from the pit, who crowns me with love and compassion and who satisfies my desires with Good Things, so that my youth is renewed like the eagles!” Psalm 103
In our home my mother had a saying, that she taught me to say, and I taught my children to say, and now our grandchildren….

We live for Jesus.
Start today and let this be what you say, what you believe, what you decide. “We live for Jesus.”
Blessings,
