Today is Good Friday. We pray for each of you that God’s richest blessings be yours today. Jesus changes everything.
On the actual Good Friday, Jesus was in the weekend we now call Easter. The disciples were heartbroken, watching their Savior as He faced the cross. Jesus was crucified.
We know the story all too well. Jesus was crucified. Death had touched all who loved Him. It seemed that all hope was lost and their hearts were broken with great sorrow.
We know that according to scriptures, that Jesus’ death represented a sacrifice He made for us. The payment of sin which gives us life. The sacrifice of a Savior for the World.
But at the time the death represented heart break.
Everything Jesus said He was, died. Those who loved Him didn’t see into the future what was coming. Resurrection was coming.
Healing for their hearts was coming.
The Bible tells us that Jesus indeed rose from the dead. As we read the story, we see though that each person who loved Jesus STILL walked through the heartache, grief, loss and the emotions of His death.
When you face such heart ache it is difficult to believe that God could turn things around.
Yet He did.
God has given us promises that He will turn our sorrow to joy.
“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a crushed spirit.” Psalm 34:18
“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:23,24
They also experienced joy when Jesus rose again and they saw Him, spoke to Him and realized He was alive.
James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
Be mindful of what you see and what you know, is subject to change. Why? Because when we approach impossible situations, hard seasons, difficult circumstances with the Word of God and with the power of Jesus things change.
“For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37
John 1:1 reminds us that Jesus is in the Word. “In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
God’s Word, when read, believed, spoken, prayed, trusted, it changes everything because Jesus changes everything.
Psalm 119:130 “The entrance of your words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple.”
(Scriptures compiled by Dick Mills)
Bring the resurrection power of Jesus Christ to your impossible situation. Read the Word of God out loud, pray it, sing it, believe it….
Jesus changes everything. And you can change your circumstances, change your future by speaking and praying Jesus into your situation.
“The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead. If the same Holy Spirit lives in you, He will give life to your bodies in the same way.” Romans 8:11
His word. His presence is in His word.
Everything changes today. Isaiah 55:11 “So shall my Word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
God’s word changes everything. Jesus changes everything.
We pray you will experience His presence this weekend.
Happy Easter. He is Risen. He is Risen indeed.

“Father in Jesus Name we pray and ask that the Resurrection power of your presence fill us today. Let us open our hearts completely to you that you fill us. Be our Savior and the Lord of our hearts. Each day is filled with the promise of your power and your presence because you Lord are the center of our lives.
We ask you to fill us with your Holy Spirit.
Today we represent you and we bring all that you are to our day. Therein lies our purpose- to live wholeheartedly for you, we love you with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our strength. (Deuteronomy 6:5)
We honor you and give you all the Glory. We give you all the Praise.
In your Matchless Name Jesus, the Name above every name.
